MAC Matte Lip Collection, Review & Swatches

Surprisingly, I am not a huge fan of any matte lipsticks. I've always been more of a moisture girl no matter if it's gloss or a creamier texture. Luckily, MAC shocked me with this collection and I love almost every single new color that came out.

Although I'm a light to medium skin tone, I love that a lot of these colors are tailored to medium to deeper skin tones because I feel as though MAC was lacking in that area. The texture of these actually go on a lot smoother than their regular matte lipsticks yet they dry completely matte.

I chose to only swatch the new shades in this collection, not the ones that are permanent but were re-released with the 12 new shades. Lucky for us lipstick junkies, all of these shades are permanent! So they will now be a part of MAC's regular matte lipstick lineup.

For some odd reason, the 12th shade didn't show up well in the lineup swatch picture. I swatched it alone with and without flash on myself & on Shardae:

My personal favorites from this collection are definitely Runway Hit, D for Danger & Naturally Transformed.
